A stunning 19th-century mansion, built by a wealthy trader family who traded with Central Asia.

Peshawar - Islamabad

Your journey begins in the historic city of Peshawar, one of South Asia’s oldest continuously inhabited cities and a gateway to the cultural heritage of the region. After breakfast, depart by private vehicle toward the Mardan district to explore the magnificent ruins of Takht-i-Bahi.

Perched atop a hill approximately 500 feet above the surrounding plains, Takht-i-Bahi is an exceptionally well-preserved Buddhist monastic complex dating back to the 1st century CE. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the monastery offers a remarkable insight into Gandharan civilization. As you walk through the ancient courtyards, meditation cells, and stupas, your guide will explain the architectural layout and the spiritual significance of this important archaeological site. The elevated setting also provides sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, enhancing the overall experience.

After completing the visit, continue your drive toward Islamabad. En route, you will stop at the renowned Taxila Museum, located near the ancient city of Taxila. The museum houses one of the richest collections of Gandharan art in Pakistan, including Buddhist sculptures, relief panels, coins, and artifacts recovered from nearby excavation sites. The exhibits provide a comprehensive understanding of the Buddhist heritage and the historical importance of the Taxila region as a major center of learning in ancient times.

Islamabad - Rohtas Fort - Lahore

Today you will depart from Islamabad early morning for Lahore. En route, you will visit Rohtas Fort, an imposing 16th-century fort built by Sher Shah Suri. The fort is notable for its massive defensive walls and historical significance as a Mughal-era military stronghold. You will explore its gates, bastions and interior while your guide explains its strategic and architectural importance. After sightseeing, continue your drive to Lahore.

Spend a full day in Lahore, the cultural capital of Pakistan. Begin at the Lahore Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site, exploring its museums, halls and gardens. Nearby, visit the Badshahi Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. See the Minar-e-Pakistan, a national monument and the Lahore Museum, known for its rich collection of Mughal and Gandharan artifacts. Leave early for Multan, the “City of Saints,” known for its Sufi shrines and blue tiled mosques. En route, enjoy the changing landscape from Punjab plains to southern Punjab’s semi arid areas. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax before a heritage walk.

Multan Heritage sightseeing

Explore Multan’s spiritual and historical sites. Visit the Shrine of Shah Rukn-e-Alam, Bahauddin Zakariya Shrine and Multan Fort with its ancient gates and fortifications. Drive south to Sukkur. If timing allows, make a short stop at Bhong Mosque, a stunningly ornate mosque in Rahim Yar Khan (if open). Also, enjoy the scenic views of Lansdowne Bridge, a historic railway bridge. Reach Sukkur in the evening and check into your hotel.

Sukkur - Larkana - Mohenjo-Daro

Drive to Larkana and visit Mohenjo-Daro, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the world’s earliest urban settlements from the Indus Valley Civilization. Explore the archaeological site, including the Great Bath, granaries and streets and then visit the Mohenjo-Daro Museum for ancient artifacts. Overnight stay in Larkana.

Larkana - Sehwan Sharif - Hyderabad

Depart for Sehwan Sharif to visit the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, a famous Sufi saint. Participate in the spiritual ambience and your guide will explain Sufi traditions and local folklore. Explore Karachi – Coastal Metropolis and Colonial Heritage

Karachi experience begins at the Quaid-e-Azam Mausoleum, a national symbol dedicated to the founder of Pakistan. Its white marble architecture and ceremonial guard make it an important start to the day.
From there, you visit Frere Hall, a colonial-era landmark surrounded by gardens, followed by a walk through the historic Empress Market, where local traders sell spices, textiles and fresh produce.
Optional visits include the Mohatta Palace Museum, showcasing Sindh’s cultural and artistic heritage within a Rajasthan-inspired structure. Evening return to hotel.
